In parallel with the information announced by the President of the French Republic, VINCI has received official confirmation from State services of the release of three employees of SOGEA SATOM, a VINCI subsidiary, and one AREVA employee taken hostage during the night of 15 to 16 September, 2010.
"It is with an immense joy that we learned of the release of our employees Thierry Dol, Pierre Legrand and Marc Feret and of Daniel Larribe, an employee of AREVA", declared Xavier Huillard, Chairman-Chief Executive Officer of VINCI. "It comes as a huge relief to their families and friends and to all those who have worked or hoped for their return after such a long period of captivity."
The Group would like to thank all those who worked unstintingly to bring this release about and express its warmest congratulations to the Authorities.
