VINCI is awarded five roadway service contracts in the United Kingdom

In recent months, Eurovia, a subsidiary of VINCI, has been awarded five contracts in the United Kingdom to provide road-maintenance services in the English counties of North Yorkshire, Shropshire, Cheshire West and Chester City, Cheshire East, and Essex. The latter two contacts are joint ventures with the U.S.-based firm, Jacobs.
The total value of these contracts, which range in duration initially from 5 to 10 years, exceeds €1.7 billion.
These long-term service contracts cover all aspects of road maintenance, such as regular maintenance and network renovation, inspection and repair of engineering structures, legacy management, emergencies, winter maintenance (including snow removal), and lighting.
Eurovia will also provide clients with consulting services and expertise regarding traffic management, roadway design, and vehicle fleet management. In testimony to the quality of the business partnerships it has built with its clients the Company will also provide delegated budget management services in Cheshire East and Essex.
Multi-year service contracts currently account for 70% of Eurovia’s activity in the United Kingdom. Over the past 20 years, the Company has acquired solid experience and recognized expertise with local communities as well as administrative authorities throughout Britain.
