VINCI to build SFR's new head office complex in Saint-Denis

VINCI Immobilier has signed a Property Development Contract to build the new SFR head office complex. The project, which consists of four buildings, will cover a total area of 133,000 sq. m. (total usable area) near the Stade de France in Saint-Denis (93), north of Paris. Designed by architect Jean-Paul Viguier, it will be built in the form of a campus and will have building energy efficiency (Haute Qualité Environnementale, HQE), low consumption building (Bâtiment Basse Consommation, BBC) and Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) certifications.
On completion, the complex will host 8,500 work stations, have 1,650 parking spaces and will include five restaurants, 1,600 sq. m. of retail outlets, a 750 person capacity conference centre with a 300-seat auditorium, and sports facilities.
The works, awarded to VINCI Construction France, will be carried out in two phases scheduled between mid-2011 and mid-2015. The first phase will be completed at end 2013 and will involve construction of two buildings with a total area of 74,000 sq. m. The second phase will cover construction of two further buildings with a total area of 59,000 sq. m. for delivery mid-2015.
