Appointment to the Board of Directors of VINCI

The Board of Directors of VINCI under the chairmanship of Yves-Thibault de Silguy has appointed Mr. Jean-Pierre Lamoure to replace Mr. Quentin Davies at its meeting on Tuesday 16 December 2008. The next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be asked to approve this appointment for the remainder of Mr. Davies’ term, which ends at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders called to approve the financial statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2011.

Jean-Pierre Lamoure, born 23 April 1949, is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and an Ingénieur en chef du corps des mines. He joined Solétanche in 1983 as Chief Executive and was appointed Chairman of the Management Committee of Solétanche Entreprise in 1987. He has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Solétanche SA (which became a subsidiary of VINCI Construction in 2007) since 1989. He has also been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Atlantic Sfdt since 1998. Mr. Lamoure was Vice-Chairman of the French National Federation of Public Works from 1998 until 2007, and has been its Secretary since 2007. He has also been Chairman of its Technical and Innovation Commission since 2004.
