VINCI publishes its Shareholders' Club programme for 2008
31 January 2008 - Events - France
VINCI, the world’s leading integrated construction and concession group, has published its Shareholders’ Club programme for 2008*. This year, the Group is offering a rich programme of visits to discover its sites and construction projects.
The slogan of VINCI’s advertising campaign is Real success is the success you share. So nothing could be more natural than for VINCI to allow the 8,000 members of its Shareholders’ Club to discover sites or emblematic construction projects in each of its business lines before everyone else. Throughout the year, VINCI will be running guided visits of the Stade de France, which it will operate under a concession until 2025. Other visits to sites or construction projects are also planned, including:
- the A19 motorway, from Courtenay to Artenay, the largest motorway infrastructure project in France;
- Eurovia’s Research and Development centre near Bordeaux, of which the principal mission is to conduct fundamental research and be a centre of expertise for all members of the Group’s technical network;
- the construction of the Terenez bridge, at Brest, a curved, 580 metre long, cable-stayed bridge of which the pylons are 100 metres high.
- the exhibition on work on tunnels at “La Pyramide” at Nice Saint-Isidore about the major operation to bring the 21 tunnels in the ESCOTA network up to the new safety standards;
- the Vauban docks at Le Havre; their transformation into a new centre of urban activity illustrates the Group’s expertise in carrying out complex projects;
- the construction of a TGV high-speed train line between Dijon and Mulhouse; visitors will see a 37 km section between Besançon and Montbéliard.
- the creation of a European cultural centre in Paris on the site of the former Pompes Funèbres Générales funeral directors’ premises.
VINCI also plans to hold meetings in 2008 with its shareholders in several cities across France: five meetings are already arranged, in Lille, on 22 April; Rennes, on 3 June; Caen, on 8 October; Lyons, on 3 December and Marseilles, on 15 December.
