VINCI Park expands further in Germany
17 December 2007 - Acquisitions - Germany
VINCI Park recently acquired NETPARK GmbH, a company based in Hildesheim that manages over 12,000 spaces and 25 car parks, primarily in Lower Saxony and North Rhineland-Westphalia.
NETPARK, founded in 2002, rapidly expanded into several German länders in the car park segment, via long-term leases and service provision contracts.
Sebastien Bringmann, CEO and founder of NETPARK, was keen to join VINCI Park as away of ensuring support for development of the structure, which he will continue to lead, backed by the experience, know-how and quality of service of his company's new owner.
Active in Germany since 2006, when it signed a 15-year leasing contract for 56 car parks belonging to the Karstadt group, VINCI Park now manages over 80 car parks and 30,000 parking spaces in some 40 German towns.
VINCI Park, leading European parking operator and world leader in parking concessions, manages over one million off-street and on-street parking spaces in Europe and north America.
