Works start on the A9

In Montpellier (south of France), the consortium composed of VINCI Construction Terrassement (leader), Eurovia, Dodin Campenon Bernard (VINCI Construction), GTM Sud and Sogea Sud (both VINCI Construction France subsidiaries) and Razel-Bec has begun work on re-routing the A9 on behalf of VINCI Autoroutes. The East works package awarded to the consortium covers the earthworks, 32 engineering structures, restoring communications, the pavements, drainage, road markings and signage, crash barriers and the Baillargues toll barrier.
Entry into service is scheduled for late 2017. Value of the works: €195.79m.
