Wooden structure for a photovoltaic farm

In Mézos (south-west France), in February 2012, Caillaud Lamellé Collé, an Arbonis company (VINCI ConstructionFrance), handed over the wooden structure which supports the 28,000 sq. metres of photovoltaic panels covering additional ponds created at an expanding fish farm. The company was in charge of the “wooden structure and deep foundations” works package for the panel support structure. The solar installation, with a capacity of 4.5 MW, protects the ponds from the sun and birds. Contract value: €4.6m.
