Widening a highway in Alberta

Carmacks (Eurovia) has been selected by Alberta’s Ministry of Transport to widen two stretches of Highway 63 to 2x2 lanes in the vicinity of the House and Biche rivers. The project will extend over a total of some 51 km and includes the construction of three bridges. The works involve creating the base, foundation and surface layers; starting in 2014, they will be completed in summer 2015.
Total value: 179.4 million Canadian dollars (€116.8m).
