Watertight enclosure for biogas power plant
19 June 2012 - New contracts - France
Within the framework of Veolia Propreté’s project to extend the final waste storage centre at Lapouyade (west of France), Soletanche Bachy, a Soletanche Freyssinet subsidiary (VINCI Construction), in a joint venture with Sade, has secured the contract to create the watertight enclosure in the form of a slurry wall. This 80 cm-thick wall, with a surface area of 36,000 sq. metres, will be anchored, 20 metres down, in the impermeable clays. Launched in April 2012, the works are due for completion in December 2012.
