Awarded by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD), this involves building some 2,926 m of tunnel for the storage of surplus water, and three shafts.
The teams will be creating a shaft with non-reinforced diaphragm walls (thickness: about 1 m; length: 46 m), a steel-reinforced diaphragm wall (thickness: 600 mm; depth: 21 m) and a non-reinforced diaphragm wall (thickness: 900 mm; length: 53 m). The Clean Lake project is scheduled for completion in 2036.
