On 20 October, in Bruyères-sur-Oise, VINCI Construction France inaugurated a platform dedicated to the processing of polluted soils and sediments excavated by Extract-Ecoterres (VINCI Construction France). It is the biggest site of this type in the Paris region, designed to meet the requirements of Greater Paris programme. Occupying an area of three hectares, this site enables up to 80% of the materials processed to be recovered. It benefits from both river access (200 m of quayside) and road access, putting it in a favourable position as regards the management of excavated materials, a major issue in connection with the works undertaken within the framework of the Greater Paris project. With this new platform, VINCI Construction France aims to meet the waste recovery challenge posed by 650 contaminated building sites in the Paris region.
