Waste recovery plant

The waste recovery authority in Artois (SMAV) has selected the project proposed by Sita Nord (leader), VINCI Environnement (VINCI Construction France) and A3 Architectes for the design, construction and operation for five years of its new mechanical-biological pre-treatment facility. With a capacity of 35,000 t/year, this unit will join the SMAV’s existing treatment installations in order to maximise its waste recovery potential. It will be built at the site of the Saint-Laurent-Blangy Eco Park (north of France), without disrupting existing operations. In total, the planning, works and commissioning stages will take 20 months.
Contract value: €10.9m, of which €10.3m for VINCI Environnement.
