Volotea landing at Lyon-Saint Exupéry

As of April 2020, the VINCI Airports network will be providing the new French base of Spanish airline Volotea at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport (VINCI Airports/VINCI Concessions), in central France.

This fast-growing airline is already present at three of the VINCI Airports network’s airports in Europe (Nantes, and Porto and Faro in Portugal). Since first arriving on the tarmac in Lyon, in April 2018, it has been extremely successful, opening four routes to major European regional cities: Palermo, Palma de Mallorca, Alicante and Cagliari. This new base will enable it to offer ever more destinations departing from Lyon, while at the same time having a positive economic impact with the creation of the jobs, direct and indirect, needed to manage this new activity.
