VINCI Airports joins ACI’s Sustainability Committee

Due to its nationally and internationally recognised environmental initiatives, the Salvador de Bahia airport, which is operated by VINCI Airports (VINCI Concessions), was recently appointed to Airports Council International’s (ACI’s) Permanent Sustainability Committee.
During its three-year term, VINCI Airports alongside the Committee’s 24 other members will be developing ACI policies on global environmental issues relating to aviation. The topics they cover include noise pollution, emissions from aircraft engines and air quality at airports, environmental management systems, groundwater management, waste management and wildlife management.
