Urban expressway in Poland

On 8 August, in Silesia (southern Poland), a new 3 km-long section of the DTS (Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa) central highway, and the cycle track alongside it, was opened between Katowice and Gliwice, an urban expressway aimed at improving both traffic flow and road safety. The project was partially financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF); the works were supplied by Eurovia CS.
