Two buildings for the Cité des Loisirs

GTM Bâtiment, leader of a joint venture with CBC (both are VINCI Construction France subsidiaries), and architects Ateliers 2/3/4 have been awarded the design-build project to extend the Cité des Loisirs in Courbevoie, by Paris. This extension, providing a total surface area of 15,000 sq. metres, involves two buildings. The first, the Festive Space, will host the activities of associations and events, and will notably feature an agora, two multipurpose rooms seating 1,000 and 300 people respectively, and two rehearsal studios. The second, to be known as the Colombes building, will house the new gymnasium and changing rooms, as well as a central kitchen, a leisure centre and premises for associations. The extension is scheduled to open in February 2014.
Total contract value: €65.8m (including taxes).
