Turnkey excavation in Santiago de Chile

Soletanche Bachy Chile, a Soletanche Freyssinet subsidiary (VINCI Construction), has won the contract for excavation works for a major development project on a 6,300 sq. metre site in the Vitacura district of Santiago de Chile. The works comprise the temporary and permanent retaining structures as well as the earthworks. The excavation will accommodate the six basement levels of the building, which will house an upmarket shopping centre, a cinema and a gym, as well as offices.
Launched in early February, the works will take five and a half months. Contract value: €3.5m.
