Transforming a road in Dinard, Brittany

In Dinard, Brittany, Eurovia began completely resurfacing the boulevard Féart, a major arterial road, in October 2018 in order to upgrade it to current standards in terms of accessibility, user comfort and service levels.

After the sewer system was improved, the teams from Eurovia’s division in Rennes started work on the road. The main road into the city was transformed, especially by the use of the Lumi+ road surface. Lighter in colour than standard asphalt, and combined with special public lighting, it helps to cut electricity consumption in towns (given its reflexive properties) and improve visibility for road users (by reducing dazzling by 30% to 40%).
