Tramway over the Danube

Eurovia SK, in a joint venture with Eurovia CS and SMP CZ (VINCI Construction), has signed a contract with the city council of Bratislava to build a tramline crossing the Danube. The project involves rebuilding the 465 m-long Old Bridge (the old structure will be replaced with a new one, with a span of 135 m to allow for river navigation), as well as the construction of three bridges and a footbridge (total length: 2.4 km) and 1.7 km of roadways.
Worth €58.8m and partially financed by the European Union, the works will take 22 months.
