The Stade de France celebrates its 20th birthday!

To mark this anniversary, on Sunday 28 January 1,200 Saint-Denis children were invited to form a human 20 on the pitch of the stadium.
Located in Saint-Denis, by Paris, the Stade de France is the largest sporting venue in France, able to seat some 80,000 spectators.
It was designed, financed and built by several VINCI companies, and inaugurated during the 1998 Football World Cup. Today, the Group is the majority shareholder in the Stade de France Consortium, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the stadium until 2025.
Since that inauguration in 1998, the Stade de France has hosted some 450 events and welcomed 35 million spectators, supporters and sportspeople. The next major events scheduled there: the Rugby World Cup in 2023 and the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
