The South Europe Atlantic Tours–Bordeaux high-speed line, which VINCI built and is now operating, officially opened to traffic on Sunday 2 July 2017, marking the completion of the construction phase and the beginning of commercial operation.
The SEA HSL is the largest infrastructure concession contract in Europe today.
The new 302-kilometre high-speed line is part of a wider regional development plan addressing national and international challenges, and will open up new opportunities for growth and mobility for passengers and economic stakeholders.
