The new Bordeaux stadium

On 26 April 2014, more than 900 people had a chance to visit the new stadium in Bordeaux. Organised by the concession company Stade Bordeaux Atlantique (a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions and Fayat), in close cooperation with the construction consortium headed by VINCI Construction France, this Open Day took place a year before the facility is due to be handed over. Throughout the day, members of the public were able to inspect the stadium’s technical characteristics, see how the works are progressing, and find out more about the future challenges of operating the venue, the principles of the public-private partnership and the detailed costs of the project. The operation will be repeated during the Heritage Open Days, on 20 and 21 September 2014.
