The Cité des Civilisations du Vin in Bordeaux

On 17 April 2013, the consortium comprising VINCI Construction France and its subsidiaries GTM Bâtiment Aquitaine, Caillaud Lamellé Collé and Fargeot Lamellé Collé (Arbonis companies) secured the contract for the envelope of the Cité des civilisations du Vin in the Bassins-à-flot area of Bordeaux (west of France). The works include the foundations, structural works, glued laminated framework, roof, waterproofing, façades and cladding. The 11,165 sq. metre structure, designed by architect Anouk Legendre, is characterised by its unique shape and will be up to 50 m in height. Handover is scheduled for 2016.
