Ten-year extension for operations and maintenance contract

In April 2015, Highways England extended for ten years the operations and maintenance contract held by South West Highways which, in a joint venture associating Eurovia and Balfour Beatty, is responsible for the design, construction, financing and operation of the A30/A35 Exeter to Bere Regis trunk road. Used daily by 25,000 vehicles, this stretch of road forms part of the main east-west artery along the south coast of England. The works will extend over ten years, from October 2016 to September 2026.
