Tarmac lighting at Munich Airport

Actemium Köln (VINCI Energies Europe) has been awarded a contract by Munich Airport for the technical equipment for the lighting of the airport’s western tarmac. The business unit is notably charged with installing LED lighting and induction loops as well as the associated cabling. Actemium will also install a 400 Hz static frequency converter destined to supply the planes’ on-board networks. The works will be carried out without disrupting air traffic.
The first phase, launched in May, will be completed in November 2016; the second will be implemented between April and July 2017.
Contract value: €2.5m.
