The Indonesian manufacturer of off-shore platforms PT Gunanusa has awarded Jetec Indonésie (VINCI Energies International) a new contract in the Yadana gas field, 60 km off the Burmese coast. The company is charged with bringing up to current standards the control and safety systems as well as the telecommunications systems on the existing platforms. It will also create a temporary control room, required for the duration of works to raise one of the platforms. The works, which began in April, will continue through until March 2013. Contract value: €5.3m.
