Strategic partnership with Constructora Conconcreto

In July 2015, VINCI entered into a strategic partnership with Constructora Conconcreto, a leading Colombian construction and real-estate development operator. This partnership, taking the form of an agreement to cooperate on future major infrastructure projects in the country, will benefit from VINCI’s expertise in the fields of concessions and contracting. For VINCI, this partnership will be accompanied by the acquisition of a 20% stake in the company, via a reserved capital increase. Constructora Conconcreto is the second largest construction and property development group in Colombia (it employs some 4,800 people, and in 2014 generated sales of €320m). Via a joint venture with its Major Projects division, VINCI is already working alongside Constructora Conconcreto within the framework of the Aguadulce project, in the new zone of the port of Buenaventura, on the west coast of Colombia.
