Soil improvement on a seaside site

Menard Vibro (Soletanche Freyssinet/ VINCI Construction) has begun soil compaction works on the La Mer project, headed by property developer Meraas, in Dubai. Vibro compaction is being used to treat the dredged materials deposited here to form this 468,000 sq. metre site won from the sea. A mixed-use complex of homes and shops as well as a leisure centre will be built on the two peninsulas currently under construction.
