Shops beneath the vaults

In Marseilles (south of France), Girard and Dumez Méditerranée (both VINCI Construction France subsidiaries) are to build a new retail centre. Baptised the Voûtes de la Major, it will host 39 shops on 7,300 sq. metres. It will be the largest shopping centre, after the Carrousel du Louvre, in Paris, to be located beneath a historic monument.
Contract value: €16.45m.
