Road maintenance in the Maule region

In January 2015, Bitumix (Eurovia) completed a programme of maintenance works, launched in October 2014 on behalf of the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), on the 24 km of the J-55 road linking Romeral and Paso Vergara, to the south of Santiago. On the first section, 7 km in length, teams replaced 1,900 sq. metres of concrete slabs, repaired damaged areas and upgraded the shoulders. On the second section (17 km), they applied a wearing course in very thin bituminous concrete (2.5 cm) and installed road safety equipment.
