Road maintenance in Madrid

In September 2019, as part of works package 4 of a road maintenance contract awarded by the City of Madrid, Eurovia España teams have rehabilitated 400,000 m2 of roadway in Madrid, i.e. some 60 streets – Trespaderne, Poeta Blas de Otero, José del Hierro, José Arcones Gil, located in the Ciudad Lineal, San Blas-Canillejas and Barajas districts, in the east of the city – and major avenues – Arturo Soria, Calle Alcalá and Avenida de Arcentales.

The works involved planing and replacing the most damaged surfaces in order to restore these roads to their optimal state for users and traffic.
