Rijnland Route: the works gather pace

The Comol5 joint venture, composed of VINCI Construction Grands Projets,TBI Mobilis, Croonwolter&dros andDIMCO (DEME Infra Marine Contractors), is pushing ahead with the constructionof the Rijnland Route, in South Holland

Currently engaged in building temporary bridges, groundwater lowering testsand the creation of diaphragm walls,the teams will shortly be embarkingon the construction of a TBM entry shaft.This project – launched in 2017 and with a total value of €492m – will improve accessibility and relieve traffic congestion by creating a new road connecting the towns of Katwijk and Leiden.

Handover, scheduled for late 2022, will be followedby a 15-year maintenance contract.
