As part of the construction of a children’s wing at the hospital in Richmond (Virginia), Skanska Building has entrusted the geotechnical works to Nicholson, a Soletanche Freyssinet subsidiary (VINCI Construction). The 59,460 sq. metre building will house 72 examination rooms. The project also involves supplying a car park providing more than 600 spaces. Nicholson is currently installing the 167 micropiles supporting the structure of the existing car park.
