Restoring the Perret tower in Grenoble
26 October 2020 - New contracts - France
The city of Grenoble (in south-eastern France) has entrusted the consortium led by Freyssinet (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction) and encompassing Comte (VINCI Construction France) with carrying out a set of tests, with a view to refurbishing the Perret tower, a 90-metre-high historical monument.
In full compliance with strict conservation and restoration protocols, a test phase, begun in July and continuing until December, is currently under way on two pillars, the aim being to validate the formulations envisaged for use as repair materials before deploying them over the entire edifice.
