Restoring ecological continuity

Teams from Equo Vivo (VINCI Construction Terrassement), leader, Net and Biod.i.v are working on the project to restore the ecological continuity of the Yvette river, in the CAP Haute Vallée de Chevreuse regional natural park (Paris region).

The aim is to restore the natural characteristics of the valley. The works include the functional restoration of the aquatic and wetland ecosystems, and the optimisation of the natural floodplains and flood absorption areas, while preserving the area’s historical heritage. Revegetation work (helophyte fascines, beds of seedlings and saplings, sowing seeds, etc.) will constitute the final stage of the project. Begun last summer, the finishing works are under way.
