Renewing railway track

1 September 2014 - New contracts - Gabon

ETF (Eurovia) recently signed a contract with the operator of the Trans-Gabon Railway (SETRAG) for the removal of ballast on 200 km of this railway line between Owendo and Ndjolé. Reminder: the 640 km-long Trans-Gabon Railway runs through the equatorial forests to connect Moanda, in the east of the country, to the port of Owendo, near Libreville, and transports 4 million tonnes of manganese a year.
The works start in September 2014. Contract value: €7m.
