Rehabilitation of Interstate 77

Blythe Construction (Eurovia) is to rehabilitate a 7.7 km-long, 6-lane section, near Charlotte, in North Carolina, of Interstate 77.

This inter-state motorway, some 1,000 km in length, links Ohio and South Carolina and is essential for mobility in the east of the United States. The project involves planing the existing surface and replacing it with a wearing course. The works will be carried out at night. Light barriers and presence detection lighting will be installed to ensure the safety of the project teams.

Completion of the works is scheduled for September 2019.
