Rehabilitation of a former factory

Soletanche Polska (VINCI Construction) has won its first contract on behalfof Capital Park, within the frameworkof the rehabilitation and conversionof the Norblin factory in Warsaw.

The teams assigned to this project will be in charge of designing and creating the system of foundations, a combination of diaphragm walls, barrettes and jet grouting, at an average depth of 32 m. Renamed ArtN, and BREEAM certified (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method),the future complex will comprise nine levels above ground and four underground levels, providing some 64,000 sq. metres of adaptable space (offices, services, shops and cultural spaces), an underground car park and the first totally automated bike parking facility in Poland.

The works on this operation will be carried out between February and October 2018; handoveris scheduled for late 2020.
