Rehabilitation of a brownfield site

In Pontcharra (south-east France), since January 2016, teams from Cardem (Eurovia) have been working, on behalf of the Grésivaudan association of communes, on the project to rehabilitate the site of a former paper mill. Following site clearance and asbestos removal operations, the superstructure and then the infrastructure of each of the nine buildings will be demolished.
The works will be completed in late summer 2016 with backfilling and the rehabilitation of the site. In total, more than 16,000 t of concrete and 300 t of scrap will be processed.
Value of this operation: €1.6m.
