28 January 2016 - Projects update and handover - France

The foundation stone for the future regional museum (MuRéNa) showcasing the Roman history of Narbonne, designed by the British architect Sir Norman Foster, was laid on 10 November 2015 by SM Entreprise, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction France. Phase I of the project, lasting six months, involves preparing for the works, the general earthworks and the creation of a prototype. The construction of the actual museum (phase II) will start in early 2016. It is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018.
