Reforestation project in Madagascar

In early 2019, teams from Sogea-Satom (VINCI Construction International Network) working on the eastern bypass project in Antananarivo (Madagascar) took part in an eco-responsibility project.

The employees, accompanied by their families, 200 pupils from a state primary school in Ambohimanambola and a number of heads of fonkontany (administrative subdivisions), spent a morning tackling the challenge of planting 4,000 young trees.

This operation was part of the 2019 campaign to reforest bypasses and will be followed up with an awareness-raising campaign in state primary schools.
