Redeveloping station forecourts
11 August 2015 - Projects update and handover - France
Eurovia’s Laon and Angoulême offices have respectively begun redeveloping the forecourts of the railway stations in Saint-Quentin (northern France) and Angoulême (western France). The station in Saint-Quentin will thus become more accessible for all users: pedestrians, persons of reduced mobility, cyclists, buses, taxis and cars (4,200 passengers a day). The redevelopment of the station in Angoulême, meanwhile, comes within the framework of the LGV SEA high-speed line project, due to link Paris and Angoulême in 1 h 45 minutes as of 2017. Of particular note here: the installation of 7,000 sq. metres of depolluting photocatalytic slabs.
