23 December 2013 - New contracts - France
Since June 2013, the LGV SEA Tours-Bordeaux high-speed line construction works have been advancing apace. As of end November 2013, 80% of the earthworks (54 million cubic metres of excavated materials) and 75% of the concreting works for the standard engineering structures (440,000 cu. metres) have been completed. Over this period, VINCI Construction Terrassement, leader of the infrastructure sub-group, has deployed more than 1,650 employees and 560 machines from its fleet of equipment. The works base in Villognon (west of France) has been handed over to the railway equipment sub-group, and ETF (Eurovia) is currently installing the track.
