Reconstruction of a street in a classified city
20 March 2019 - New contracts - Poland
In late 2018, Eurovia Polska’s Bydgoszcz office completed reconstruction works in Turystyczna Street, in Toruń, the birthplace of the astronomer Nicolas Copernicus and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
To limit disruption, the works in this 1.5 km-long street were split into six phases. In order to enhance the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, two pavements and cycle paths were created. And a terminus and five bus stops, walkways, intersections, lighting, and dry and wet networks were also either installed or renovated.
