La Champenoise, a subsidiary ETF (Eurovia), is to upgrade the SNCF line between Sathonay and Bourg-en-Bresse (central France) over the summer of 2016. Most of the works will be concentrated on a stretch of some 25 km between Villars-les-Dombes and Bourg-en-Bresse. Eurovia Alpes Bourg-en-Bresse, ETF Rhône-Alpes Auvergne, ETF Ouest, ETF Grands Projets and ETF Services will be involved in the execution of this 100% Eurovia project. The teams will renew the ballast, lift the tracks and replace the sleepers. The main works must be completed by the end of August 2016, with a view to bringing the line back into service.
