Railway facilities for Port 2000

Within the framework of the enlargement of the Port 2000 container terminal, in Le Havre (Normandy), the ITE Île-de-France Ouest office of ETF-Eurovia Travaux Ferroviaires has just secured two contracts. The first involves supplying and laying 3.4 km of track and 8 sets of points. The second, providing for traffic within the port area, will involve supplying and laying 9.4 km of concreted track and 21 sets of points, and will be implemented in collaboration with Eurovia Haute-Normandie’s Le Havre office (earthworks and backfilling between the lines). These works, undertaken on behalf of the Grand Port Maritime du Havre (port authority), started in January 2012. Total value of the contracts: €7.1m, of which €6.5m for ETF-Eurovia Travaux Ferroviaires.
