Prime Minister visits LGV SEA worksite

On 1 September 2014, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls was present at the worksite inSaint-Romain-la-Virvée (west of France) of the LGV SEA Tours-Bordeaux high-speed line to celebrate the completion of the Dordogne viaduct. Having been welcomed by Xavier Huillard, Chairman and CEO of VINCI, the Prime Minister went out onto the deck of the Dordogne viaduct – the longest viaduct (1,319 m) on the line - where the final voussoir had been cast on Thursday 21 August, after two years of works. The LGV SEA Tours-Bordeaux line (302 km) will offer a journey time between Paris and Bordeaux of 2 hours 5 minutes as of summer 2017. Find out more at www.lgv-sea-tours-bordeaux.fr.
