PPP for the Centre National des Sports de la Défense

GTM Bâtiment (VINCI Construction France), in a joint venture with Barclays Infrastructure Funds, has just been awarded a partnership contract, with an overall budget of €280m, by the French Ministry of Defence, for the financing, design, construction and/or refurbishment, maintenance and operation for 30 years of its national sports centre (CNSD), in Fontainebleau (Paris region). The property development contract, worth €70m, will be implemented by Adim Île-de-France (VINCI Construction France). The works, taking 22 months to complete after a 9-month planning phase, will involve refurbishing six buildings and the construction of more than 40,000 sq. metres of sports facilities. VINCI Facilities (VINCI Energies)will be responsible for maintenance, caretaking and security at the site.
