Pipeline replacement in south of France

Geostock (Entrepose Group/VINCI Construction) has secured a contract with Géosel for the preparation, organisation, and technical and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) supervision, as well as the management and acceptance of the works to replace a section of the northern part of the GSM1 pipeline. This 70 km-long pipeline, built in 1968, transports liquid hydrocarbons from the port of Lavéra, near Martigues, to Géosel’s underground storage site at Manosque. A ten-year rehabilitation programme has been drawn up to replace the corroded existing pipes with new ones. Between September and December 2014, Spiecapag (Entrepose) carried out the works to replace section N12, between Rognes and Ventabren.
